Q: What Operating System platforms do our products support?

A: Our Public Sector Directory on CD products currently support the following Microsoft Windows platforms: Win95, Win98, Win NT 4.0, Win2000 & WinXP.

Q: When I insert the CD into my CD-Rom, the setup program does not start automatically?

A: You have the "Auto Insert Notification" turned OFF for your CD-Rom. Make sure it is turned ON by selecting Start->Settings->Control Panel->System->Device Manager->CD ROM. Then select the CD Rom device where you will be installing our product from. Click on Properties->Settings for the selected CD Rom device. Under the Settings Tab, make sure the "Auto Insert Notification" check-box is checked. Click OK to apply the setting

Q: I clicked on the menu item for your Public Sector Directory on CD product from the Start->Programs menu, but all I get is the Adobe Acrobat Reader window with a page displaying your "Public Sector Publications" Logo and a bunch of greyed out lines.

A: The Acrobat Reader that is installed with our Public Sector Directory on CD products has an initial default display setting of "Fit page to screen". Since the default setting for "Greek text below xx pixels" in Acrobat Reader is 6 pixels, the first page will be displayed with most lines Greeked out or Greyed out. This only applies if your screen display resolution is set to 800x600 or below.

To display the page properly, use any of the following methods:

1. Maximize the Acrobat Reader Window by clicking the Maximize Window button.
2. Use the Zoom Tool in Acrobat Reader to enlarge the displayed page.
3. Close the Navigation Pane in Acrobat Reader.
4. Change the display resolution of your screen to 800x600 or higher if your Monitor supports it.

Please note that our support services only apply to questions relating to our Public Sector Directory on CD products. We will not be able to support questions not directly related with our products such as questions relating to Operating Systems (ie Windows, OS/2, Linux, etc...), and other third party applications such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.
